Classification of abnormal EEG

EEG classification:

Boundary linear electroencephalogram (edge state)

(1) the frequency difference of alpha waves of different leads exceeds 2Hz.

(2) the difference of the alpha amplitude between the hemispheres was more than 30% (except for the occipital region).

(3) there are more than 20-50 UB V beta waves in the frontal region.EEG machine

(4) the number of low amplitude theta waves in the frontal region is slightly larger, but not more than 25%, and the amplitude of theta wave is slightly higher than that of the alpha wave.

Mild abnormal electroencephalogram

The frequency difference of alpha wave exceeds 24.5Hz. The amplitude is asymmetric, the amplitude difference of both sides is over 30%, and the occipital area is more than 50%.

(2) physiological reaction is not obvious or asymmetric.

The frequency of alpha wave slowed to 8Hz, and the amplitude was above 100 V, and the regulation was not good. (4) the increase of beta wave is 50-100 V. In the frontal or temporal area, the median amplitude is 20%, while the low amplitude delta is 10%. Excessive ventilation can induce more than 70 V of theta wave or more than 25 V of delta wave.

Moderate abnormal electroencephalogram

The frequency of alpha wave slows down to 7-8Hz, and the original alpha wave in the occipital area disappears or decreases.

2. There is a high activity of alpha activity in frontal and temporal regions.

(3) medium wave amplitude theta activity amounts to 50%.

4. There are a few spikes, Jian Bo, spines or sharp slow complex waves.

Severe abnormal electroencephalogram

(1) the high amplitude theta or delta wave is the main rhythm, the alpha wave vanishes or only a small amount of 8Hz alpha wave is dispersed.

(2) spontaneous or induced long range or repeated high amplitude spikes, Jian Bo, spine or sharp slow complex wave.

3. Height loss, burst suppression, periodic release and so on.  EEG machine
